Do you charge for surveys?
Surveys and quotes are free within 20 miles of Bromborough. Further out, we can usually quote from photos and rough measurements, and for larger projects we cover the rest of the UK.
Does one-way mirror film give privacy at night?
Not on its own. Mirror film works when it is brighter outside than inside, so during the day people outside see a reflection. At night, with lights on indoors, the effect reverses and people can see in. If you need privacy around the clock, frosted film or a combination of films is a better choice, and we will talk you through the options.
Can film go on double glazing?
Usually, yes. Some films are not suitable for certain types of glass because they can increase heat stress in the pane, so we check the glass type and recommend a film that is compatible with it.
Can window film be removed?
Yes. Film can be removed professionally, so it is a good option for rented homes and offices. Any adhesive left behind is cleaned off the glass.
How do I clean windows after film is fitted?
Leave the film to cure for around 30 days before cleaning it (curing can take longer in cold weather). After that, use a soft cloth or squeegee with mild soapy water. Avoid abrasive pads and ammonia-based cleaners.
